What is PF?

PF full form is Provident Fund or EPF Employee Provident Fund. it is a scheme of providing monetary benefits to the salaried employee after their retirement or some times before only like at the time of jobless, marriage, or some other economically critical situations.

PF or EPF was introduced by the Indian government in 1952 under the Employee’s Provident Fund and miscellaneous act. all the rules and regulations are defined and followed by EPFO (Employee Provident Fund Organization). this body’s activities are managed by the Ministry of labor and employment.

One who is salaried and seen their payslip or EPF passbook can easily understand what is PF employee contribution and PF employer contribution both these contribute to a particular PF account you can check by PF account login or UAN log in.

What is UAN?

UAN stands For Universal Account Number. It is also a number similar to a bank account number, every employee( where the PF deduction exists) will be having a unique 12 digit identity number for PF is UAN.

Every time you change the companies on your requirement and on intimation to the company, only member identification number(ID) will change not UAN. The new company will link ur PF to the existing number only.

After logging into the UAN portal, check all the details and verify. like Adhaar number, Pan number, Date of birth, Bank account details, etc. and you can pf balance check online by UAN number

Why my claim has rejected two times?

By seeing the videos and some articles I have submitted but within three days in claim status, it was Rejected

First-time claim rejection

The first time while uploading a blank cheque there was no name. hence it was rejected. this was the mistake and showing two reasons like need to upload name printed cheque leaf. because simply I had uploaded the blank cheque of my bank passbook

Second-time claim rejection

The second time, I thought need to write my name on a blank cheque. and submitted with the same process. on 29th April. and on 1st may claim rejected by telling the same reasons.

You can see in the image below. the time taken to check claim is only three days
